If you're struggling with overwhelm - read this...

When you approach a new topic of learning, many are struggling with overwhelm - especially with the amount of data, information, content, videos or whatever the media is that your topic is being presented in.

Many years ago, when I was running a small business, I got to a point where I was feeling quite overwhelmed with all the tasks that I had to do: Advertising, Networking Meetings, Client Meetings, Production (First Stage), Production (Second Stage), Invoicing, Credit Control and so on.

I was having a side conversation at one of my Networking meetings with one of the other networkers and he said to me "How do you eat an Elephant?" This was the first time I had heard this phrase/question, so I responded that I wasn't sure what he meant.

He simply answered "One bite at a time."

And that is how you tackle a "To Do List" or taking on a new project, learning something new or building a house. You take it one step at a time - or eat the Elephant one bite at a time.

Hopefully, if you're learning something new, it will be broken down into easily manageable bite sized chunks!
